DRAWING-BASED OEM INTERCONNECTS

Coaxial Cable Assembly Manufacturer

Xinshao supports custom coaxial cable assembly projects for equipment OEMs. Bring your connector part numbers, cable specification and RF acceptance requirements to a focused manufacturing review.

  • Connector-to-connector and board-to-panel configurations
  • Length, routing and termination review
  • Prototype-to-production coordination

Custom Coaxial Interconnects for Your Equipment

Source an assembly around the signal path and mechanical installation. Xinshao works with OEM engineering and procurement teams on drawing-based cable projects, from component selection through sample review and production planning.

Start with the exact mating interfaces, cable construction, length datum and operating conditions. RF performance belongs to the complete cable-and-connector combination; acceptance limits and test coverage should be agreed for each design.

Coaxial Assembly Configurations

sma-coaxial-cable-loop

SMA Coaxial Cable Assemblies

Specify straight or right-angle interfaces, exact connector gender and mating requirements. Confirm the cable and connector combination against your operating band.

bnc-coaxial-cable-loop

BNC Coaxial Cable Assemblies

Define the required impedance, bayonet interface and cable construction for instrumentation or video equipment. Similar-looking interfaces require part-number confirmation.

n-type-coaxial-cable

N-Type Coaxial Cable Assemblies

Share the installation envelope, mating connector and environmental conditions for equipment interconnects. Sealing requirements apply to the complete installed assembly.

tnc-right-angle-coaxial

TNC Coaxial Cable Assemblies

Review threaded interfaces, connector orientation and cable routing for your equipment. Include vibration and retention requirements in the drawing.

miniature-coaxial-pigtail

Miniature Coaxial Pigtails

Provide the exact board connector series, mating height, cable diameter and routing space. Miniature snap-on families are not automatically interchangeable.

sma-bulkhead-coaxial

Bulkhead Coaxial Cable Assemblies

Define panel thickness, mounting hardware, connector clocking and internal cable length. Review access for assembly and mating before freezing the design.

6 Configuration Options

A Clearer Path from RFQ to Approved Build

01

Interface Review

Confirm mating part numbers, gender, polarity and connector orientation.

02

Cable Selection

Align impedance, attenuation needs and routing with the cable specification.

03

Revision Control

Record approved drawings, BOM revisions and substitution approvals.

04

Acceptance Planning

Define electrical checks and any project-specific RF verification before production.

Evaluate the Assembly, the Components and the Evidence

A coaxial supplier review should cover connector sourcing, cable availability, termination methods and drawing control. Request evidence relevant to the proposed assembly rather than relying on a generic capability list.

Agree sample approval criteria, traceability needs and inspection records. Continuity checks alone do not establish insertion loss, return loss or performance across an operating band.

Configure the Cable around the Installation

coaxial-right-angle-routing
coaxial-panel-mounting

Specify length between clearly defined reference planes, dimensional tolerances, connector angle and clocking. Include panel thickness, tool clearance and the permitted cable route.

Confirm the minimum bend radius from the selected cable specification and distinguish fixed installation from repeated movement. Avoid using a connector body as strain relief.

Share your drawing, sample or current component list. Missing details can be identified during review before a sample build is agreed.

Cable & Connector Selection

Choose the complete signal path around the equipment requirements.

  • Nominal impedance and operating frequency band
  • Cable manufacturer, part number, diameter and jacket
  • Attenuation budget, shielding and environmental exposure
  • Exact connector series, gender and approved substitutions
coaxial-termination-components

Termination & Inspection Planning

Manufacturing requirements follow the selected component instructions and approved assembly drawing.

  • Strip dimensions and center-contact termination method
  • Shield termination, retention and strain relief
  • Visual, dimensional, continuity and short-circuit checks
  • Agreed RF limits, fixtures, calibration planes and reporting

Support for OEM Engineering & Sourcing

oem-coaxial-equipment

Equipment Manufacturers

Coordinate internal RF connections, panel interfaces and service access with the wider equipment design. Include operating environment and installation constraints in the RFQ.

Engineering & Procurement Teams

Compare approved components, sample evidence, purchasing quantities and revision control. Evaluate alternatives explicitly before changing a qualified BOM.

Coaxial Cable Assembly Procurement Guide

Define the interface and the acceptance criteria before comparing quotations.

Send the drawing, BOM, cable and connector part numbers, length datum and tolerance, operating band, impedance, quantities, annual demand and delivery destination. Include inspection limits and report requirements; submit available information if the design is incomplete.
State the intended system impedance and exact mating components. Cable and connector variants must be reviewed together; physical resemblance does not establish an electrically suitable interface.
Agree the frequency range, insertion-loss and return-loss or VSWR limits, test setup, reference planes and required records before the build. Phase matching and other special requirements need a separate feasibility review.
Alternatives require review of mating geometry, impedance, frequency suitability, environment and sourcing. Obtain written approval before changing the specified BOM; do not assume an alternative is equivalent.
Review requirements and material availability, agree a drawing and inspection plan, build samples, record approval and release the controlled revision for production. Lead time depends on components, quantity and validation requirements.
Provide exposure, temperature, mating state, bend radius and motion profile. Cable construction, seals and strain relief must be selected and verified for the specific installation; there is no universal waterproof or flex-life claim.
