OEM ETHERNET CABLE ASSEMBLIES

Custom Ethernet Cable Manufacturer

Ethernet cable assemblies built around your equipment interface, routing and procurement requirements. Send Xinshao your drawing, BOM or sample for a manufacturing review.

  • RJ45, panel-mount and industrial interface options
  • Project-specific lengths, shielding and strain relief
  • Prototype approval through repeat production

Ethernet Interconnects Configured for Your Equipment

Xinshao supports OEM/ODM cable assembly projects for machine builders and equipment manufacturers. Define the mating interfaces, installation envelope and required network performance before choosing cable and connectors.

Custom length, connector orientation, jacket, shielding, identification and packaging can be reviewed against your drawing. The options below are starting points for engineering review; the approved BOM and assembly specification determine the supplied configuration.

A Clearer Path from RFQ to Assembly

01

Interface Fit

Review exact mating parts, latch access and cable exit direction before sampling.

02

Controlled Specifications

Keep cable construction, pin assignment and approved alternatives tied to the drawing revision.

03

Prototype Approval

Evaluate installation and agreed electrical checks on samples before production release.

04

Repeatable Procurement

Align BOM revisions, labeling, packing and inspection records for repeat orders.

Evaluate the Complete Assembly, Not Just the Cable Label

A cable category marking alone does not establish the performance of a terminated assembly. Connector selection, termination quality, length and the installed channel must match the intended Ethernet application.

Include your target interface and acceptance method in the RFQ. Agree the relevant wire-map, shielding and transmission checks, test limits and reporting requirements before sample approval.

ethernet-connector-options

Provide finished length and tolerance, the measurement reference points, connector orientation and available routing space. Specify whether the cable remains fixed or moves during service.

Confirm RJ45 wiring map or the exact industrial connector coding and pin assignment. Connector families that look similar are not automatically interchangeable.

For overmolded or sealed designs, review tooling, jacket compatibility and the complete mating arrangement. Any ingress rating must apply to the agreed assembly and test conditions.

Cable & Shielding Specification

Select materials against installation and network requirements rather than appearance.

  • Required category, conductor construction and finished length
  • Foil, braid, drain wire and shield termination arrangement
  • Jacket material, routing radius, movement and environmental exposure
  • PoE requirements, conductor sizing and temperature conditions where applicable

Manufacturing & Acceptance Planning

Translate the approved drawing into an agreed assembly and inspection plan.

  • Connector assembly, termination and strain relief details
  • Pin assignment, continuity and shield connection checks
  • Project-specific transmission validation and acceptance limits
  • Revision identification, inspection records and agreed FAI documentation

Custom Ethernet Cable Procurement Guide

Prepare the specification, validation and sourcing details that make a manufacturing review useful.

Send a drawing or sample, connector part numbers, wiring map, finished length and tolerance, cable specification, shielding, quantity, annual demand and delivery location. Add required tests and compliance documentation. Incomplete specifications can be reviewed before quotation.
State the required category and application in the RFQ. Cable and connector selection, termination design and finished-assembly acceptance must be reviewed together. A raw-cable marking alone is not a finished-assembly performance certificate.
Provide the grounding arrangement, shield continuity requirements and installation environment. For PoE, include the intended equipment and power requirements so conductor construction, connectors and thermal conditions can be reviewed.
Provide the preferred manufacturer and exact part number. Any alternative needs review of mechanical fit, electrical requirements, availability and your approval before inclusion in the production BOM.
The proposed route is specification review, component sourcing, sample build, agreed inspection and installation validation, then drawing/BOM approval and production release. Confirm sample quantity, inspection records and change-control requirements during review.
Cable and connector availability, length, quantity, termination complexity, overmold tooling and required validation affect cost and schedule. Sample and production dates should be confirmed after the specification and material plan are agreed.
